Pallas's cat is a small wild cat found in the in the montane grasslands and shurblands.
It was discovered for the first time in 1776 by a Peter Simon Pallas near the lake Baikal.
Today it has beedn sighted in the Himalayas, Caucasus,, South Siberian Mountains and Iranian Plateau and Tibetan Plateau.
Her body is 46 to 65 cm (18 to 26 inches) with a long bushy tails that can grow up to 21 to 31 cm (8.3 to 12.2 in).
Her fur allows her to do camouflage which helps her to stay safe as well as catch prey.
It’s difficult to spot a pallas's cat since it remains hidden in the crevices and burrows.
She perys on rodents and lagomorphs.
It comes under the Least Concern Species list of the UN because of her large population and wide habitat
The 60 zoos of the world are participating in Pallas's Captive program since 2018.
